Reportedly, Karan Johar's next directorial will see Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt second time together after Gully Boy. However, that's not it, as the film will also feature Jaya Bachchan.
It was a while ago when Karan Johar revealed via a special video that he is going to announce his next directorial after five years on July 6. And well, now as a report in Pinkvilla, it suggests that KJO's upcoming project features Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and also marks the return of Jaya Bachchan to the big screen. This can be true as Ranveer marks his 36th birthday tomorrow.
A source told the portal, "When he (Karan) narrated the script to Jaya ji, it was an instant yes from her as she loved the character. The film in question is a rooted love story with strong family emotions." Let's wait and watch.
