Politician Tej Pratap Yadav has extended financial help to actor-comedian Rajpal Yadav after reports emerged about the actor’s arrest in a cheque bounce case. The Jan Shakti Janata Dal (JJD) president announced assistance of INR 11 lakh, expressing support for Yadav’s family during the ongoing crisis. The case is linked to an old loan taken in 2010, when Rajpal Yadav reportedly borrowed INR  5 crore to finance his directorial film Ata Pata Laapata. After the film failed at the box office, repayment issues led to legal action, with dues later rising to around INR  9 crore.
