Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the film Sanki back in March, which will star Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The movie, originally scheduled for release on Valentine's Day 2025, has seen no major updates recently. On July 16, rumours surfaced that the film was put on hold due to Ahaan Shetty's 'pricey entourage cost.' In response, Nadiadwala Grandson's official X (formerly Twitter) handle addressed these rumours and provided an update on when the film is scheduled to go on floors. Sharing a tweet from a media handle, they wrote, "We are starting #Sanki on 18th August. We request all media houses to avoid such rumours and clarify the news with us before printing!" Sanki is scheduled to go on floors from August 18. The movie marks Ahan Shetty's second film after his debut in 2021 with Tadap. Sanki will be directed by debutant director Adnan A Shaikh. Sanki: Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hedge's Film To Hit Theatres On February 14, 2025.
