All We Imagine as Light faced tough competition in Anora, Emilia Pérez, Kinds of Kindness, Megalopolis, The Seed of the Sacred Fig et al, and emerged the winner of the grand jury award.
It's a shining moment for Indian cinema at the 77th Cannes Film Festival as Payal Kapadia's All We Imagine as Light wins the Grand Prix Jury Award. The film, starring Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam, and Hridhu Haroon, is the first Indian film to be screened for the Palme d'Or in 30 years, following Shaji N Karun's Swaham. It also became the first Indian film to win the Grand Prix Jury Award.
