Other than Taylor Swift, her bestie Selena Gomez along with Rema also won the Best Afrobeats award for Calm Down. Nicki Minaj won the Best Hip Hop award.
Taylor Swift won the award for Best Direction for her "Anti-Hero" music video, and the singer was ecstatic. She happily went up onstage to accept her award, holding hands with her editor and cinematographer. Nicki Minaj presented the award to the singer, and before she started her speech Taylor gave a shoutout to the rapper saying "that's my favourite Sagittarius over there".
