‘Kantara Is Nothing Like Tumbbad’ Says Anand Gandhi

Kantara released on September 30 and is a film about a death in the village of Dakshina Kannada. And how it leads to a war between the villagers and the forces of evil.

The director of Tumbbad, Anand Gandhi took to Twitter to clarify that the idea behind his movie was, "to use the horror as an allegory of toxic masculinity and parochialism". And on the other hand he feels Kantara is a celebration of these.
