Sandalwood star Darshan Thoogudeepas was arrested on June 12 in connection with the murder of a man named Renuka Swamy. A week after his arrest, his wife Vijayalakshmi visited him at the Annapoorneshwari police station in Bengaluru. According to One India, Vijayalakshmi will be recording her statement with the police officials after receiving a notice related to the murder case. The reports further revealed that the notice was sent to Vijayalaskhmi after Darshan's shoes were found at her residence. Renuka Swamy, a die-hard fan of the Kannada star was brutally murdered on June 8 at Sumanahalli bridge in Bengaluru.
