Today, November 8, the Supreme Court’s seven-judge bench assembled to give a verdict on the minority status of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). During the hearing of the AMU Minority Status case, Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud, heading the seven-judge bench, said there are four judgements in the case. It is learned that four judges gave a majority verdict, while three judges passed a dissenting judgment.
