Bengaluru Airport's vigilant customs officers made a significant seizure yesterday, September 6, uncovering a collection of wild animals in passenger's baggage. A total of 78 animals were discovered, including 55 Ball Pythons in various colour morphs, along with 17 King Cobras found alive, and sadly, 6 Capuchin Monkeys found deceased. The animals have been seized under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962.
