Having departed from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully completed its Chandrayaan-3 mission. The mission took 40 days to complete. On August 23, at 6:04 PM IST, the Vikram lander accomplished a gentle landing on the moon. Congratulations and greetings were in line from leaders across political parties in the country on Wednesday.
