Delhi Customs officials, acting on specific intelligence, intercepted two passengers with Turkmenistan passports arriving from Turkmenistan on a Turkmenistan Airlines flight during the early hours of October 22-23. The passengers were stopped at the exit of the green channel for routine checks. During an x-ray examination of their baggage, customs officials noticed suspicious images that warranted further investigation. A thorough examination of the passengers revealed an array of assorted yellow metal jewellery, believed to be gold, totalling 538 grams. Additionally, officials discovered four iPhone 16 Pro devices concealed within two sealed tissue paper pouches.
