Firecracker Ban in Delhi Ahead of Diwali 2022: AAP Government Extends Ban on Firecrackers Till January 1, 2023; Online Sale and Delivery Also Prohibited
Delhi government on Wednesday extended ban on manufacturing, storing, sale and bursting of firecrackers. Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP government in Delhi had last year banned firecrackers and has extended the ban till January 2023.

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that the Government has taken the step to save people in the national capital from pollution. This year the Delhi Government has also banned the online sale and delivery of firecrackers in the national capital. Gopal Rai further said that the government will plan with Delhi Police for strict implementation of the ban.
