Besides this, Sindhu is also a recipient of the Padma Shri and the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna awards in 2015 and 2016 respectively. Earlier this year, she became the second first Indian woman to win two Olympic medals.
PV Sindhu, who made India proud by winning a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2021 earlier this year, was awarded the Padma Bhushan on Monday, November 8. The award was presented to her by president Ram Nath Kovind.
