BJP national president JP Nadda took to X (formerly Twitter) to console the demise of Air Marshal Denzil Keelor, who passed away on Wednesday, August 28, in Gurugram. In his post, JP Nadda said he was deeply saddened by the passing of Air Marshal Denzil Keelor. "His valor during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 stands as a testament to his unwavering courage and dedication to the nation," Nadda's post on X read. Nadda also said that Air Marshal Denzil Keelor championed the cause of over 450,000 special children by fostering a movement of inclusivity, awareness, and empowerment through sports when he founded Special Olympics Bharat. It must be noted that Air Marshal Denzil Keelor (retd) was a decorated IAF officer and 1965 Indo-Pak war hero, who will be best remembered for shooting down a Sabre aircraft of the adversary in the war.
