Surat Crime Branch on Tuesday, August 29, arrested a private tutor who allegedly posed as a scientist with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and made forged documents for the same. The accused, identified as Mitul Trivedi, also gave interviews to the media in Surat, claiming he designed the lander module for the Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. When asked why he posed as an ISRO scientist, Trivedi said he did so to attract more students to his classes. A case has been registered against him under sections 465, 468, 471 and 419 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
