During a press conference at the Congress headquarters in Delhi on Monday, October 9, Rahul Gandhi questioned the media on caste diversity. In the room full of media persons, Gandhi asked the reporters to raise their hands asking "how many Dalits are in the room" and "how many OBCs are in the room". The latter used a poor response from reporters in attendance to support the party's drive for a caste census across the country.
