India Reports 40,953 New COVID-19 Cases in Past 24 Hours; Highest Daily Spike in 2021 So far
As per the official data released by the Union Health Ministry on Saturday, India reported 40,953 new COVID-19 cases, 23,653 recoveries and 188 deaths in the last 24 hours. This is the highest single day rise in coronavirus cases for 2021 so far. The total COVID-19 caseload in the country currently stands at 1,15,55,284 and death tally at 1,59,558.
