A debt-ridden businessman in Lucknow ended his life by shooting himself at his office on Ring Road, Gudamba, after livestreaming a heartbreaking plea on Facebook. Shahzeb Shakeel, overwhelmed by crores of unpaid debts and unable to afford insulin for his diabetic daughter, appealed to celebrities like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and industrialist Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani for help. In the live video, he expressed his deep anguish and financial struggles before taking the tragic step. His family, alerted by the video, rushed to the spot but arrived too late. Police have recovered the body and sent it for a postmortem.
