Lucknow: Doctor Brutally Thrashed Over Patient’s Death at Ignis Hospital, Police Assure Action After CCTV Video Surfaces
Dr. Ravi Dev, former HOD of the Neurosurgery Department at KGMU was assaulted by the patient’s relatives after he died during the treatment. The doctor has been sent for a medical examination, and a case will be registered based on the medical report.
A former HOD of the Neurosurgery Department at KGMU, Dr Ravi Dev, was attacked after a patient died during treatment. The incident occurred at Ignis Hospital in Gomti Nagar Extension, where the patient's relatives severely beat the doctor. The video of the incident that surfaced on July 24 captures a group of men physically assaulting the doctor. Further, Lucknow police replied, "The doctor has been sent for a medical examination, and based on the medical report, a case will be registered, and necessary legal action will be taken."
