Heavy rains pounded Nagpur city on Friday night, inundating low-lying regions and prompting authorities to relocate residents to safer areas. The meteorological agency reported 106 mm of rain at Nagpur airport at 5.30 am. According to authorities, several roadways and residential areas have been submerged. As a precaution, the government has announced a school holiday.
