The Maharashtra Police Cyber Cell on Friday shared cyber safety tips in the wake of fraud in mobile gaming apps. The police asked users to download apps from authentic sources such as Google Play, Apple Store etc. In its list of safety tips, the cyber cell also urged users not to share personal information such as bank details with gaming apps. The police also asked gamers to report any suspicious activity to the game app's developer and to the payment provider at the earliest.
