The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) today, August 2024, released the NIRF India rankings for all categories. IIT Madras has been ranked as the top-ranked higher education institute in the country, followed by the Indian Institute of Science (Bengaluru), IIT-Bombay and IIT-Delhi. On the other hand, the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, was ranked as the best university in the country, followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia of Delhi.
