Nude Video Call Scam in Haryana: Rohtak Man Receives WhatsApp Call Showing Naked Girl Dancing, Duped of Rs 2.21 Lakh in Sextortion
After the call ended, the victim received another call from an unidentified person who threatened to leak his video on YouTube. Feared of being shamed, the victim transferred Rs 2.21 lakh to the cybercriminals.
A man from Haryana's Rohtak recently fell victim to a cyber fraud after he received a call from a number which showed a woman dancing nude. Soon after he received this call, he saw a young woman naked, dancing without any clothes on the video call. The victim, identified as Amit Chawla, a resident of Kila Mohalla in Haryana's Rohtak, immediately ended the call. However, it was too late, as he had already become a victim of cyber fraud. After the call ended, the victim received another call from an unidentified person who threatened to leak his video on YouTube. Feared of being shamed, the victim transferred Rs 2.21 lakh to the cybercriminals. However, when the victim realised he was scammed, he approached cops and lodged a complaint against the cyber fraud.
