A 44-year-old snake charmer from Phulchur near Gondia city tragically passed away after being bitten by a cobra. The deceased was identified as Sunil Nagpure. Known for his dedication to rescuing and rehabilitating snakes, Nagpure had saved hundreds of snakes throughout his career. On Monday night, Nagpure received a call about a cobra sighting at a house in Karanja, Gondia. While attempting to capture the snake and place it in a bag, the cobra escaped and bit him on the hand. Despite being rushed to the District General Hospital, Nagpure succumbed to the venom during treatment.
