AAP MP Swati Maliwal staged a protest outside Delhi CM Atishi’s residence, bringing a bottle of polluted water that she claimed was being supplied to residents in areas like Sagarpur and Dwarka. During her visit, Maliwal described witnessing black water coming from household taps and alleged that Delhi’s water supply had remained inadequate despite promises of improvement since 2015. Speaking to the media, she issued a 15-day ultimatum for the government to address the issue, warning that she would return with a tanker of polluted water if conditions do not improve. “This water is for them to bathe in, drink, or purify their sins,” she remarked as she left the bottle outside CM Atishi’s residence.
