Telangana Government Increases Stipend Of Senior Resident Doctors To Rs 80,500 Per Month With Effect From January 1, 2021
The move comes after many of the doctors went on strike regarding their demands. An increase in stipends was one of the many demands that was met by the government. Due to the strike majority of hospitals in the city were facing shortage of staff amid this pandemic.
The government issued formal orders enhancing the stipend of doctors.
