In a post on X, CM Siddaramaiah wrote, "Karnataka stands in solidarity with Kerala. I have assured CM Pinarayi Vijayan of our support and announced that Karnataka will construct 100 houses for the victims." The disaster, one of Kerala's worst natural calamities, has claimed 358 lives, with 200 people still missing, according to the latest state government reports.
