Mumbai on Wednesday reported the first case of Zika virus after a 79-year-old Chembur resident tested positive. The Mid Day reported the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said the patient is a 79-year-old male patient has multiple comorbidities. However, the municipal body has advised citizens not to panic. "Even though Zika virus is a viral disease, it does not spread as rapidly as COVID-19," the BMC said.
