A startling report has surfaced, validating former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s previous claims that the YSR Congress government, led by Jagan Mohan Reddy, used animal fat instead of ghee in the preparation of the sacred ‘Tirupati Prasadam’ at the Sri Venkateswara Temple. Naidu had raised concerns about the purity of the Tirumala laddu, alleging that substandard ingredients, including animal fat, were being used in place of ghee. On September 19, Anam Venkata Ramana Reddy revealed that a report from the National Dairy Development Board in Gujarat had included these claims, revealing that the ghee used in the laddus contained traces of animal fat, fish oil, beef tallow and palm oil.
