The Election Commission of India announced schedule for the Maharashtra assembly elections 2024 today, October 15. Addressing a press conference, the EC said the 2024 Maharashtra state assembly election will be held in a single phase to elect 288 members of the Vidhan Sabha. According to the schedule, polling in Maharashtra will take place on November 20. November 23 has been set as the date for counting of votes and announcement of the results.
