According to reports, the inflatable bounce house was set up in the right field stands of Regency Furniture Stadium, where the game was taking place, to entertain the children while the team was playing. However, a gust of wind reportedly carried the bounce house over a wall and onto the playing field. This caused the children inside the bounce house to fall out of it and onto the ground. The tragic incident resulted in the death of one child and injuries to another.
