Superwoman cop of Nashik Police, Manisha Sonawane, was praised and applauded for carrying an unconscious woman to the nearest police vehicle and ensuring her safety after the latter fainted mid-rally on August 28.
During a rally in Nashik on August 28, a "Superwoman" cop of Nashik Police, Manisha Sonawane, helped carry an unconscious woman to the nearest police vehicle after the latter fainted mid-rally. Without losing precious time, Sonawane lifted the woman on her shoulders and ran to the nearest police vehicle, taking her to hospital and thus rescuing her. Sonawane was aided by lady cops Amaldar Yogita Fasale and Home Guard Ms Pagare in her rescue act, as seen in an online video. The Commissioner of Nashik Police, IPS Sandeep Karnik, applauded Sonawane and saluted all the "Superwoman" lady cops for acting out of duty to deliver exemplary public service. He praised all such lady cops, calling them "the backbone of Nashik police" in an X post.
