India's para-athletes continued to shine at the Paris Paralympics 2024, winning the 19th and 20th medals at the event. India now have officially registered their best-ever medal haul at the Paralympic Games.
India have another double podium finish at the Paris Paralympics 2024 with Ajeet Singh and Sundar Singh Gurjar winning silver and bronze medals in the Men's Javelin Throw F46 event respectively on September 4. Ajeet Singh won the silver medal with a best effort of 65.62m while his compatriot Sundar Singh Gurjar took the bronze medal with a 64.96m throw. India now have 20 medals at the Paris Paralympics and this is the nation's best-ever medal haul at the Paralympic Games! This was India's second double podium finish at Paris Paralympics 2024 after Sharad Kumar and Mariyappan Thangavelu won silver and bronze medals in the Men's High Jump T63 event.
