HS Prannoy revealed that he would be put of action for a while now after his battle with Chikungunya. The 32-year-old was in action at the Paris Olympics 2024 where he had lost to compatriot Lakshya Sen in the round of 16 stage. Taking to social media, Prannoy shared a picture of himself and wrote, "Unfortunately, the battle with Chikungunya has taken a toll on my body, leaving me with persistent pains that make it impossible to compete at my best. After careful consideration with my team, I've decided to withdraw from some of the upcoming tournaments to focus on recovery."
