In a progressive move, the ACC has confirmed that the Women’s U19 Asia Cup will be held biennially, serving as a key tournament before each ICC Women’s U19 World Cup.
The Asian Cricket Council took another step to progress Women's cricket in Asia as after their board meeting at Kuala Lampur on Wednesday, September 11, ACC President Jay Shah announced the launch of the Inaugural U-19 Asia Cup T20. In 2023 the inaugural Women's U-19 T20 World Cup was played and riding on the momentum, now the Asia Cup T20 will also be conducted providing the youth a competitive platform to shine.
