Aiden Markram Appointed Captain of South Africa T20I Team As Proteas Announce Squad for West Indies Series
Aiden Markram, has been appointed as the captain of South Africa’s T20I unit, after their skipper, Temba Bavum, resigned from his post last month.
The South African men’s cricket team has announced their squad for the upcoming ODI and T20I series against West Indies. However, this time, a new captain is going to lead the T20I side. SunRisers Hyderabad’s batter, Aiden Markram, has been appointed as the captain of South Africa’s T20I unit, after their skipper, Temba Bavum, resigned from his post last month. Notably, 28-year-old Markram led his U-19 South African team to a trophy win at the U19 Men's Cricket World Cup in 2014. Aiden Markram Named SunRisers Hyderabad Captain for IPL 2023.
