The right-handed Australian struck nine fours and as many sixes to achieve this historic landmark on Wednesday against Melbourne Renegades. His knock of 127 off 65 balls helped Hobart Hurricanes post 206/5 in the first innings.

Ben McDermott on Wednesday, became the first player in the history of the Big Bash League to score back-to-back hundreds when he reached a century for Hobart Hurricanes' against Melbourne Renegades. He had earlier scored a hundred against Adelaide Strikers in Hurricanes' last match.
