Ben Stokes to Captain England Against Pakistan in ODIs and T20Is After Three English Players Test COVID-19 Positive
Ben Stokes is set to lead England in ODIs and T20Is against Pakistan after three players from the home side tested COVID-19 positive along side four members of support staff. The series against Pakistan will go ahead, starting July 08. ECB will shortly name new squad. Stokes will return to action for the first time after IPL 2021.
Three England players and four support staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus ahead of the series against Pakistan. ECB will now name new squad with Ben Stokes confirmed as captain.
ECB have confirmed the ODIs and the T20Is against Pakistan will go ahead. Ben Stokes will return to England duties and captain the new squad – which will be named in the next few hours #EngvPak #Cricket
