Chennai Super Kings Signed MS Dhoni on This Day in 2008, IPL Franchise Share ‘The First Whistle’ Video
Dhoni's CSK have been one of the most successful franchises in the history of the IPL, winning four titles and consistently making it to the playoffs. Dhoni has been an integral part of CSK ever since the inaugural edition of the IPL in 2008.
On this day in 2008, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) signed MS Dhoni. The former India captain and wicketkeeper-batsman has been part of all IPL seasons in which CSK have competed. Last season, Dhoni led CSK to their fourth IPL title by beating Kolkata Knight Riders in the final.
