Dhruv Jurel performed a 'salute' celebration as a tribute for his army veteran father after he scored a half-century during the Lucknow Super Giants vs Rajasthan Royals match in IPL 2024. Jurel was superb in his 34-ball knock off 52 runs, an innings which included five fours and two sixes. He, along with Sanju Samson, set the stage for Rajasthan Royals to chase down 197 inside 19 overs. Jurel, after hitting his first IPL half-century off 31 deliveries, performed the celebration, which is dedicated to his father, who is an army veteran.
