An interesting moment took place in the Afghanistan vs Bangladesh ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 match on Sunday, 25. The rain interrupted play for a second time in the second innings and Afghanistan had Bangladesh reeling at 81/7 in 11.4 overs when play was stopped due to rain in St Vincent. Afghanistan head coach Jonathan Trott signalled for the Afghanistan players to slow down as they were ahead in terms of the DLS par score that Bangladesh needed to have and Gulbadin Naib, who noticed that gesture, instantly went down in pain.
