However, the hotel management mistakenly sent the mail to the cricketer's namesake, who said that he had no 'plans to fly to Guwahati' on September 28.

In a recent example, a person, who has the same as Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, came across a situation where he was believed to be the former by a hotel! The man took to X, formerly Twitter to reveal this development in which he also shared the screenshot of the email that was sent to him from the hotel in Guwahati. The online check-in request read, "Dear Pandya Hardik, don't forget to check in online for your stay at Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati. Check in now to save time." The man while sharing this, also stated that it must have been for the cricketer who would be part of the Indian team for their warm-up match in the Assamese capital against England.
