India U19 Beat Australia U19 By Seven Runs in 3rd ODI, Clean Sweep Youth ODI Series 3-0
Hardik Raj was India's best bowler, taking three wickets while Yudhajit Guha and Kiran Chormale scalped two each. Action in the India U19 vs Australia U19 will now shift to the longer format with the first unofficial Test match set to be played from September 30.
The India U19 team put up another impressive show in the 3rd Youth ODI against Australia U19, beating them by seven runs on September 26. With this, the India U19 team led by Mohamed Amaan, inflicted a 3-0 whitewash on Australia. Batting first, the India U19 team scored a massive 324/8 with skipper Mohamed Amaan starring with 71 runs. Wicketkeeper Harvash Pangalia struck 46 runs while Kiran Chormale Hardik Raj scored 30 each. For Australia, fast bowler Aidan O'Connor took four wickets. In response, Australia U19 team put up a good fight, riding on centuries from captain Oliver Peake (111) and Steven Hogan (104). Unfortunately, there wasn't much support from the others, barring opener Simon Budge's 32 and Aidan O'Connor's 20-ball 35.
