Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) in dominant fashion at the Eden Gardens in match number 47 in IPL 2024. DC entered the match winning four out of the last five matches, but they were restricted to just 153 runs on the high-scoring pitch. Even though DC lost early wickets in the first powerplay, the side looked to take over KKR bowling with some hard-hitting. But instead of connecting the shots, they lost four important wickets in just 40 runs from the 7th over to the 14th over. This not only confined the Capitals to go big.
