There have been several rumours which have linked KL Rahul to a return to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Earlier, the current skipper of Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) was involved in an animated chat with team owner Sanjiv Goenka after the side had lost a match in IPL 2024 and the team's failure to progress to the playoffs led to rumours of the right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman leaving the Lucknow-based outfit and heading back to RCB. The 32-year-old while talking to a fan who said he would love to watch him back at RCB, while addressing the rumours. The Indian cricketer in response, said, "Let's hope so."
