The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced its 15-member squad for Asian Games 2023. The Nepal cricket team would continue to be led by Rohit Paudel and it features the likes of Sandeep Lamichhane, wicketkeeper batter Aasif Sheikh and also Gulshan Jha among others. Nepal earlier participated in the Asia Cup for the first time where they were clubbed together with India and Pakistan. Although they lost both matches, it paved the opportunity for more cricket fans to witness the tremendous potential the team has in the sport.
