Oman Squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2024 Announced: All-Rounder Aqib Ilyas To Lead Team at Mega-Event
Jatinder Singh, Samay Shrivastava, Sufyan Mehmood and Jay Odedra were named among the reserves. Oman begin their ICC T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against Namibia on June 3.
Oman have named their squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Batting all-rounder Aqib Ilyas has been handed the captaincy of the squad, which also contains former skipper Zeeshan Maqsood. Maqsood had captain Oman way back in the 2021 T20 World Cup, which was held in the UAE. Left-arm pacer Bilal Khan will lead the bowling attack for Oman. Oman have been placed alongside defending champions England, Australia, Scotland and Namibia and Scotland in Group B.
