The middle-order batter achieved the milestone during Match 22 of the IPL 2026 season at the Wankhede Stadium. Patidar's fifty included four fours and five sixes, an innings which at one time looked to match Yuvraj Singh's 12-ball half-century. Patidar joins Chris Gayle, who also holds the record with a 17-ball half-century, while Romario Shepherd leads the charts with a 14-ball fifty for RCB.
