Ravichandran Ashwin received a standing ovation from the Indian cricket team dressing room after he scored a terrific century and led India's recovery in the IND vs BAN 1st Test 2024 on September 19. The right-hander enthralled the home crowd with a number of delightful strokes all around the ground and got to his sixth hundred in the longest format of the game. It was also his second at home and this performance deservedly attracted praise from his teammates and the support staff. Head coach Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill were seen standing and applauding this terrific performance from the veteran.
