Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Sai Sudharsan bad luck continued in IPL 2026 Playoffs, after the batter got out hit-wicket in the ongoing GT vs RR Qualifier 2 clash, much like his dismissal against RCB in Qualifier 1. Sudharsan added a mammoth 167-run stand with captain Shubman Gill, as GT looked to chase down 215, to qualify for IPL 2026 Final against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Batting on 58, Sudharsan, sliced the ball towards the off-side, but the bat slipped out his grip, and this time landed directly on to the stumps, much to the dismay of Gill, watching at the other end. Sudharsan suffered a similar dismissal against RCB, where the bat slipped from his grip during the follow-through, bounced on the pitch, and crashed into his stumps. Interestingly, this is Sudharsan's third hit-wicket dismissal in IPL, and ties the batter with most in men T20I's alongside Andre Russell, and Shoaib Malik.
